Now I was reading this page from the Hitman wiki: https://hitman.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_meanings_of_mission_names
It’s a really good list, like for example I didn’t realise that Embrace of the Serpent was a reference to a movie about colonialism. Certainly explains why the original name for it was White Man’s Burden, both are about that sort of thing from different eras and the perspective of then vs now. Interesting, but I’m getting off track.
The thing I wanted to say was this list is incomplete. The two mission names I wanted to know the meanings of aren’t on there and wanted to come to this forum to ask.
#1: Nightcall. I feel like an idiot but I’ve searched for the meaning of this word and found nothing. No idea what it means
#2: World of Tomorrow. While the lab is futuristic, that’s hardly a large part of the level. World of Today would be more fitting, or the Town of Yesterday. My one theory I have is that Silvio’s virus could change the world, and 47 is putting a stop to this “World of Tomorrow” Silvio wants from happening.
