Recently I have an interest in special editions of Hitman games, and I think it’s worth making a thread about this topic.
Special Editions here means any editions that only a limited amount of copy has been made and gives something more than just a game. This includes Steelbooks, Collector’s Editions, and other exclusive and limited editions.
If you know or have a rare version of the game that never discussed here, please share it!

I saw some people got the version that has both Steelbook and plastic case for Gold Edition, while some people got Gold Editon Steelbook with the paper sleeve. Some people also got the paper sleeve but it wasn’t covering the steelbook. And there are people who didn’t even get the sleeve. My guess is it depends on the region because from what I’ve seen on video, people with plastic cover had a US version of the game. People with paper cover had a European version of the game, and people without any cover had an Australian version. (I’m assuming from their age restriction ratings.)
I found the red steelbook of H2 too, which I’m not sure how and why some people got it. Here’s the example of the red steelbook inside the collector’s edition.
