In Mission 14 of Absolution “Attack of the Saints”, we can see the soldiers talking about “no witnesses”, and shooting some civilians and the hotel manager.

Already in Mission 16 of Absolution “Operation Sledgehammer”, we can see that the ICA invades the Hope town aggressively using SUVs and helicopters, they blow up a fuel truck to close the street and there are a lot of ICA soldiers on the streets.
We also see a lot of civilians running and screaming at the Hoop Food Festival.

Were all those civilians killed?

Hitman Pride Parade

@Franz wrote:

I know this forum is already used extensively by players all over to share their feats and discoveries in the Hitman Universe, to flaunt the incredible talents they possess and dazzle all who dare to watch.

As a man of mediocre talents myself I find fewer reasons to boast, and probably many others feel the same. Yet there is always something. Hitman games, old and new alike, offer so many individual approaches, challenges you can set for yourself, community competitions and so much more that there is bound to be a sweet memory related to one of those that makes you think: I really did something great and unique there!

I wanted to offer everyone -living legends, creators and stumbling newbies alike- a place to unashamedly be proud and show it off. This doesn’t have to be restricted to only pure gameplay things, but it does have to be Hitman related (we don’t care about your PhD Magna Cum Laude in Nanonuclear Metasciences here). So it can range from completing a mission in a certain way, making a great piece of (digital or analog) artwork, succesfully managing a Hitman dedicated fanforum, discovering an Easter Egg, successfully seducing David Bateson at a bar, getting an internship at Io-Interactive, creating a trending or featured contract, writing a piece of fan fiction, making a game based on Hitman, making a mod, winning a competition, coming up with a competition, creating a hugely popular Hitman YouTube channel, writing a wonder of an HMF post that got many hearts, won a look-a-like contest or anything else that is remotely related to 47.

In order for this topic to stand out I suggest a few guidelines:

  1. Only one submission per person!
    A difficult choice for some, no doubt, but it will result in a more balanced thread where both newbies and veterans alike will feel they have their place to shine. It will offer an insight on what the Hitman Gods felt was the most challenging/rewarding feat they achieved, the one thing that stands out from the rest, without creating an avalanche of intimidating feats that would prevent those with more modest achievements to share their moment of pride. If you really want to change the thing to boast about, you can by editing your earlier submission and removing your entry for the benefit of a more recent feat that made you even prouder.

  2. Only talk about yourself!
    Don’t submit something that somebody else did that was amazing.

  3. No modesty!
    Not even the fake kind. You’re amazing: you know it and you show it.

  4. No rain on any parade!
    No negativity here. I think this idea will work best if this is a “safe place”. Either you say something nice or you say nothing at all. If, for example, you see someone share a feat that you yourself did when you were only 5 years old and you want to rub that in their face: don’t.

  5. Be honest!
    No point in lying, making things up or sharing feats that were based on cheats. As far as I’m concerned you can still be proud about coding a cheat, or exploiting one to great effect, but be transparent about it to make sure people don’t feel tempted to break guideline number 4.

  6. Be bold and make your contribution stand out!
    Because this thread will probably also get some replies that are not necessarily submissions but rather reactions of awe and respect and declarations of undying love, I suggest a bold font for “hall of fame” submissions.

The rest of the format of your entry can be of your choosing. It can be a simple text explaining what you did or a video or a picture or anything else. It would of course be nice to have a bit of context and storytelling around what you did, but that is up to you.

If successful, this thread could become some gallery of “the best of -”, but one where everyone could unashamedly participate.

Looking forward to your contributions!

The Birth of Contracts Mode...Absolution!

I’ve noticed an overwhelming amount of negative perception of the game Absolution on this forum.

Though, I do agree that it’s not as good of a “Hitman” game as other entries in the series, I believe the game is a milestone simply for the fact that it introduced the “contracts” mode.

As a matter of fact, when Absolution was the current Hitman game, the contracts mode was all I was playing on that game. It created a lot of positive interaction between me and other players, and a lot of good memories.

Basically, I feel that Absolution is better remembered as the birth of the contracts mode.

D&D alignments

@Pitman wrote:

Aka Pitman couldn’t come up with a better topic to discus. :wink:

So if this was D&D what character would’ve which alignment? In case you’ve never heard of them here’s a helpful Wikipedia link.

Agent 47: So in my opinion he’s either Lawful Neutral or Lawful Evil. Personally I’m leaning towards Lawful Neutral, because he’s only killing the people he’s been paid too (and a few unfortunate witnesses), while an evil person wouldn’t care about additional causalities as long as it gets the job done.

Diana Burnwood: She views her job as punishing the people who think they’re untouchable and can get away with their crimes. She also doesn’t like innocent people getting hurt. So I could image her as an extreme example of a Chaotic Good character. Or maybe a Lawful Evil character who think she’s one of the good guys. Which is not uncommon for LE characters.

Lucas Grey\ Shadow Client: He only want to destroy Providence because he’s holding a personal grudge against them. He’s also not above murder and working with terrorist. Yet the very first mission in HITMAN 2 makes it clearly that draws the line at killing innocents. Personally I think he’s Chaotic Neutral. Only caring about himself (and his closes friends) but not actively trying to hurt others. Providence, however, has wronged him, so they are fair game.

Arthur Edwards/ The Constant: We know almost nothing about him and his motive, so it’s really hard to say. Probably not Good and not Chaotic but everything between Lawful Neutral and Neutral Evil is possible.

Rocco: Chaotic Evil. Why else would he refuse to put his pants on? :grin:

Custom Piano_Man Challenges

Hello, Agents. Welcome to my playground!
A thread for all things FIBER WIRE!!

Piano_Man Challenge

How many NPC’s can you Fiber Wire on a level? Can you eliminate the entire map SA/SO using nothing but the Fiber Wire?

(It can also be for any Hitman Game as well. Codename 47 - Present)

I was inspired to make this thread because of the Challenge in Absolution (The Saints) where you had to eliminate the entire map with the Fiber Wire without getting spotted or bodies found.

I understand this won’t be everyone’s cup of Joe and I can respect that. But if this seems like a challenge you would be into, get out your Fiber Wire and share those videos/screenshots!! How many NPC’s can you take out and how fast can you accomplish it??

Restrictions
  • Any Level (Any Hitman Game)
  • No Disguise Changes (Suit Only)
  • All Fiber Wire Kills (on everyone who can be eliminated with it, that is… I’m looking at you Mr. Soders!)
  • No Bodies Found, or Getting Spotted.
  • Silent Assassin Ratings Only!
OTHER

Also, if you don’t wish to do this challenge, don’t let that stop you from posting some awesome Fiber Wire screenshots! I always enjoy seeing those :sunglasses::+1:

Feel free to share any Hitman “Fiber Wire” artwork (Either by you, or some you have found on the internet.)

Members here may also compete with one another, creating their own type of Fiber Wire themed Challenges. Whatever you want. Be creative, just remember to set the rules and all parties understand and agree before playing.

Few ideas to throw out there

  • Player must eliminate target and drag them (with Fiber Wire) from point A to point B within X amount of time without getting spotted.
  • Target Tag. Back and forth between two members. One picks one target, the other must eliminate them with Fiber Wire. If successful, they choose a target for them to do the same. Game goes on until one fails and the other is declared the winner.

Stuff like that…

One last thing: If you have any good Fiber Wire Only contacts in Contracts Mode, please post the ID#’s for those in this thread for easy access.

Make me proud, Agents!

This thread is designated to the various Suits and Disguises 47 has worn or would of worn at one point throughout the series. This can from cut content, alpha/beta/pre-release builds/etc and of course any game too. I’d like to kick off this thread by talkong about The Phantom Suit.

The Phantom Suit despite being a re-colored Absolution Suit is definitely one of my favourite suits in the game. The unlock behind this suit is a bit ludicrous, but i do enjoy rolling up to a Paris Fashion show wearing this beauty. I recommend this suit for the hardcore and dedicated players who are willing to put in the grind for this Suit. Assasination never looked so elegant. :slight_smile:

AHA, FINALLY SOMETHING THAT HASNT BEEN DONE! A thread that revolves around the creepy side of the Hitman series. This is the thread in which we discuss the strange spooky side of our beloved series. One might ask about the story of the ghost in the Traditions of the Trade. Or the Kraken living beneath the water in Sapienza. This thread we can theorize 47’s inner mind since it was dark, rainy, and gloomy all throughout Contracts except for the final level and another thing we could talk about… Is Orson/Sean 2 just Sean Rose wearing a mask!!! This is the part in which you play the dramatic music, but I’m sure you get the point of this thread.

List of Hitman 2016&2018 Kills

@Tekno1 wrote:

I have been working on a list with every single kill method, that is either A: An actual challenge ingame, B: Not a challenge, but a clear designed method Eg: The Kills from The Undying, Crushing Andrea with the flower pot or making Jorge commit suicide, or C: Probably not even a designed method, but i still want to include it.
Oh, and i did not include stuff like “Sniped, Garroted, Shot with Pistol, Neck Snap”, to everyone because those are universal, and i only included them in some special cases, such as how in the Miami briefing, Diana tells 47 that he can snipe Mark Fabs from the stands.
The Full List is not in a release condition yet, it is missing some categories to sort by that i want to include, some targets, some methods and so on, so instead here is an Excel list with the methods for only the Season 1 and 2 main mission and bonus mission targets… And Mark Faba. Im planning on adding all the elusive targets, patient zero targets, training targets, sarajevo six, both christmas missions, sniper assassin and whatever other targets there may be or become. Anyways, you can filter it and sort stuff from A-Z, there is only one category besides the target name and method right now to sort by, Eg: Poison, Firearm, Drowning, Falling, Crushed etc. Oh, and make sure you sort them correct, you dont want the name Viktor Novikov to be paired with the method “Crushed by Coconuts” and the category “Poison”.
Anyways, here is the list: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AnmkmHjaqJ0qY0UDWxYknG_juH5jB_iQ/view?usp=sharing

I am sure a lot of you are already aware of the tranquilizer gun glitch. If you are not, go watch some videos online.

I’m curious to know what other peoples feelings are about this glitch. Is it something that you could care less about, something that you think is cool, or is it something you would never even use yourself and hate others using?

I’m personally on the side of it’s a cool glitch to take people out with, especially for a quickie, but it’s still very limited in helping larger missions with more than two targets.

World Map of all 47's assassinations in the series

@Coot wrote:

With the help of some free time and boredom, I’ve filled out this random giant map image with all of 47’s assassinations in the games. I’ve excluded some of the missions, namely the Contracts remakes of C47 (this would be mainly duplicates) and the bonus missions from H2016 as I can’t figure out if they’re canon or not.

Nevertheless, the fonts increase in size the more recent the game is. The colours are just there to distinguish between the games, except for H1 and H2 as they share the same ongoing story arc. Where a rough estimation on the dot location was needed, I more or less tried to place them based on best guesses on the looks of the geographical environment.

If anyone wants, I can provide a dot-only version as well by request.
